Well as expected the internet in the mountains has been rough, on/off constantly so some blogs may be a bit short and choppy. Last night when i did a walk about looking for supper I saw the Lillooet Inn Restaurant, a small homey looking place...until you walk in. It was a sushi restaurant and that's all they had. I guess they don't understand the concept of how to name your restaurant cuz strictly a sushi does not a restaurant make. So sushi it was. It came with a good size bowl of misu soup and then something they called a salad which was long clear noodles floating in a ginger broth with a couple of shrimp, carrot sticks, cucumbers and lemon wedges thrown in. Once the lemon was extracted it wasn't all that bad. Then came the sushi, enough for three people! So I took some back to the room which proved to be a good idea later.
Then sun came up at 0445, yup and it goes down around 2130...long days. So I showered and fiddle farted around until 0630 then went out to get some breakfast. As you can see from the picture, with me standing in the middle of the street,this sleepy little village doesn't wake up till 0800! Nothing is open so it's left over sushi for breakfast then it's "hitten the road." Here are a couple of pic
