Going to try and load some pics, again weak internet. The ride today was like riding a sports bike through the valley. Surrounded by mountai
ns with long sweeping roads where you can keep your speed and and at the same time get plenty of practice with counter-steering. Only a couple of tight switchbacks.I now fully realize the difference between a "falling rock" sign and a "rock slide" sign. We've all seen falling rock signs but infrequently see a rock in the road. Here, you will see a rock, not a stone, a rock..or two or three. Rock slide on the other hand is just that, rocks slide down the mountain, across the road and down the other side. I don't know if I just missed one or if they gave up in cleaning up after them cause I ran into what had turned into a complete gravel road. I'll only be surprised by that once!Speaking of the edge of the road, there isn't much for guardrails here and the road drops off immediately, straight down. Maybe that's Canada's texting and natural selection policy. Here are some of the gazillions pics I could have taken, there is an endless amount of lakes, rivers, streams and waterfalls that just bust out the side of the mountains.
