Shortly after getting in my room at Fredericton New Brunswick it sounded like someone detonated a bomb across the street. It was actually the loudest thunder I’ve ever heard…didn’t rumble it exploded and with it lightening and tons of rain; so I got in just in time. There was no rain this morning just overcast and very foggy, but great for riding. It stayed foggy and overcast until about 1 pm when the fog lifted but it remained cloudy. Pulling over for gas I saw a couple on a Yamakawsuki so I asked again about 97 octane gas to which he replied “that’s all we got eh”? Um, “Ok eh.” Lunch time came so I pulled in to a Tim Burton restaurant since every Tim Burton I passed seemed to be packed. It’s a failed attempt at emulating a Dunkin Donuts. Oh well. I don’t know what happened while eating but the temperature went up about 80 degrees. It was, and stayed, unbelievably hot right up to boarding the ferry at 9PM. This ain’t no ferry either it’s a cruise ship. It’s freakin huge with a restaurant and a bar/lounge. I’m glad I got a room now that I see the recliner/lounge chair option. Rows of chairs lined side-by-side in a huge room…good luck sleeping tonight. Long day of riding coupled with the excessive heat made for an early night, or so I had hoped but the ship’s giant voice was going off until 11 Pm announcing one thing after another
